Abhishek Rungta

In 2025, I plan to apply my version of OKR on myself. Keeping ONE key objectives for the year, a few leading indicators, and three key result areas (micro projects) every month to drive me towards that ONE objective.

This shall enable me to measure my progress with leading indicators, and course correct where needed. This will also help me remain flexible on my approach (through setting different projects after assessment of what worked and what didn’t), whereas staying strongly focused on my ONE objective.

My ONE objective for the year will be:

– At least 25% topline and bottomline growth for INT. group (@indusnettech), and lay the foundation for higher growth rates for future years.

To achieve this, i will do the following:

– Build solid growth engines across sales and marketing for domestic and global markets

– Transform customer experience at INT. to enable CX-driven growth

– Partnership & Strategic investment playbook for inorganic growth

This is in line with our value of building a sustainable and strong business; and creating an ecosystem driven growth strategy.

Besides this, I am putting three personal goals for self development:

– Read, absorb, and apply contemporary marketing techniques which are aligned with the traditional fundamental principles

– Deeply engage in product development, and product strategy

– Improve fitness, which took a little backseat in last six months

The above will also direct some of the habits I need to form. The good thing is that I enjoy the above three activities, and hence am more likely to perform well.

Last but not the least, I will try to spend more time with friends, family, and nature.

I have generally met 60-80% of goals that I have set for myself in past years, and I hope to improve on that with this OKR system.

I think this is a simple performance management framework. Of course, the effectiveness will be known after few months.

Btw, I challenged myself to climb this 15 mt climbing wall (in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal) along with my friends and kids. I was doing rock climbing almost after 30 years! It was exhausting, but very satisfying.

I look forward to keep challenging myself and people around me in 2025. If you want to partner with me or work at INT. do drop me a line or a video explaining your super powers, and what you have in mind.
